Feeling lonely & isolated experiencing low level mental health needs we encourage you to take part in our activities at the Cottingley Community Centre (Bradford) or Thornton Lodge Community Centre (Huddersfield)

Yorkshire Wellbeing Skills Group will contact you and arrange to meet you.  At the initial meeting we will complete a needs assessment to identify appropriate support. We keep health professionals updated on a regular basis to make sure that women get the best support.

Knitting for all

Knit your way to happiness Specifically, knitting more than 3 times a week increases the likelihood that knitting would make someone feel calm and happy.

With rising rates of mental health disorders being reported, it is imperative that we investigate accessible ways to increase relaxation and reduce stress.

Card Making/Crafting

Card crafting is a great way to help you cope with your depression and reduce your anxiety as it keeps your mind busy and enables you to focus on the task at hand.
